The AOM OSCM Asia team is pleased to announce its third virtual seminar:
AI Transformation in Operations and Supply Chain Management

This seminar will examine how artificial intelligence is transforming operations and supply chain management. The session aims to: (a) explore leading scholars' perspectives on how AI technologies are transforming operational processes, decision-making architectures, and supply chain design; (b) stimulate discussion on emerging research questions, theoretical implications, and innovative methodological approaches for studying AI-driven transformation in OSCM; and (c) strengthen scholarly connections and research collaboration among OSCM researchers across Asia.
Presenters:
- Prof. Anant Mishra (VinUniversity) -- "AI and Last Mile Availability of Essential Medicines: Why Human Capacity Still Matters in Public Health Supply Chains"
- Prof. Chris K.Y. Lo (Hong Kong Polytechnic University) -- "From Autonomy to Agency: Intelligent Agents in Operations and Supply Chain Management"
- Prof. Michael K. Lim (Seoul National University) -- "Human-centered AI: Bridging Human Expertise and Algorithms for System and Policy Design" (Supported by the Social Science Korea Global Agenda, National Research Foundation of Korea)
The panel will present for 90 minutes including a Q&A session at the end.
