  • 1.  Welcome to the OSCM Division Community!

    Dear OSCM Division Members,

We are excited to present the OSCM Community on Connect@AOM!

We know that OSCM division members are eager to find new opportunities to network with each other, to build relationships, and to share information and exchange professional resources. The new Connect@AOM platform makes this very easy.

There are few features I would like to highlight here. The Discussion feature allows you to participate in conversations; you can respond to an existing conversation or start a new one on a topic of your choosing or post for example academic job opportunities. Documents and other multimedia files, such as Call for Papers can be shared in a centralized Resource library, accessible to all. As a division member, you can also contribute to our Calendar of events, creating a valuable one-stop resource for important events, journal special issue submission deadlines, or other professional development opportunities that are of interest to our community.

Ready to get started? You can login to the community using the same username and password that you use to access your AOM member profile.

To kick off the discussion, we would love to know what you like about the AOM OSCM Division, what are your expectations from the OSCM Division, and what we could do better to support you. To post an answer to the group, use the "Reply to group" link found at the end of this message in your email.

We hope we are excited to join the conversation with this new member benefit! See you at Connect@AOM!

Thanks, Virpi Turkulainen, for kicking things off.

Welcome everyone to Connect@AOM and the OSCM Community!

We as webmasters have four simple steps you can make to get to know the new platform:

    1. Update your member profile. Add a photo and tell us a little about your professional interest and background.
    2. Start a conversation by posting a message in the OSCM Discussion group.
    3. Visit the Library and share a document, video, job opening etcetera. Sample folders have been created in the Library already.
    4. Create an Event, such as a call for papers.
    5. Change your messaging frequency via the orange "Settings" button on the Community home (upper right corner) - Your default is the Daily Digest of the OSCM Community, meaning you'll get only one email each day containing all of the previous day's posts. You may elect to change to real time, weekly digest or no emails at all. You can change your settings any time.

We look forward to hearing from you on this new platform!

    Kind regards,
Desirée van Dun and Iuri Gavronski
