Hello all, with apologies for cross-posting. I thought this may be of interest in a couple of forums. I manage the Journal of Inter-Organizational Relationships at Taylor and Francis, and we have an opportunity for a Co-Editor in Chief position. I'd be delighted to discuss if this may be of interest - details of the position and my contact details are below, thank you. Hannah Shakespeare

The Journal of Inter-Organizational Relationships is seeking a Co-Editor from the fields of management, or supply chain operations and strategy, to work alongside current EiC Dave Gilliland.

    About the journal

The Journal of Inter-Organizational Relationships is an interdisciplinary journal focused on interactions between firms, other organizations, groups, and subgroups both internal and external to an organization. Publishing under its new title since 2021, the journal has published prominent scholars in the IOR field, from multiple disciplines, including marketing and management. At present, the common themes that drive JIOR are the theories, rather than the context, that explain IO relationships. These include, but are not limited to, transaction cost economics, agency theory, trust, commitment theory, control theory, stewardship theory, governance theory, power-dependence theory, and the study of contracts, both written and psychological. Contributions to new inter-organization theories are welcome.

    About the field

The IOR field continues to grow, particularly in the management arena. In 2022, of 135 IOR articles published (Web of Science), 68 were published in marketing journals and 67 in in management journals. IOR has become a truly multi-disciplinary space.

    About the opportunity

We are seeking a proactive, well-networked Co-Editor from the fields of management, supply chain operations and strategy, to complement the existing networks of the editorial team. The candidate should be prepared to take a proactive approach to commissioning articles for the journal.

    Next steps
