Growing our Field, and Raising Awareness of our OM PhD Program Opportunities Donation Link: https://bold.org/funds/dome-scholarship-fund/
Supporting the next generation of Operations Management scholars is imperative to the advancement of our field. That support starts at the ground level and among those who we have yet to meet. It involves extending invitations to brilliant minds, poised to bring a range of new perspectives and research ideas to Operations Management. That is the mission of the DOME Scholarship initiative: Inspiring current students to consider PhD program opportunities to extend their educational development and venture down a path critical to intellectual progress and our field's impact on the world. The application for scholarships will only be open once we reach a targeted fundraising level for this year ($5000).
We are already $500 in, per donations from JOM. Donations can be made at any level, but donations at the $200 level will grant donors a logo spot at the top of the DOME PhD program listings (www.project-DOME.com). Donations of $500 will offer more prominent positions. Donors should forward screen captures of donations to elliotbendoly@gmail.com to expedite these promotions. When the fundraising goal is reached (or close to), we will open up the application form for those interested. Target applicants are current students demonstrating a clear interest in pursuing a PhD in OM, by virtue of an essay (criteria to be posted separately, but if you are interested in being involved in the selection committee, let me know as well).
