Dear colleagues,
This is a final reminder that applications are open until 8 December for the VU Amsterdam Winter School "Publishing Leadership Research in Top-Tier Journals" (12–16 January 2026, online).
The course is designed for PhD students, early-career researchers, and scholars interested in leadership from all management disciplines (OB, ENT, STR, HR, TECH, etc.) who are working on leader- or leadership-related projects and wish to strengthen their papers for publication.
Participants work on their own manuscripts and receive individualized feedback within one of four focused research tracks:
- · Conceptual papers
- · Systematic literature reviews
- · Qualitative studies
- · Quantitative studies
The program also includes a Meet the Editor session with editors from The Leadership Quarterly, Human Relations, Journal of Business Venturing, and Journal of Management Studies.
The Winter School is accessible worldwide:
- · Lectures at 10:00 Amsterdam time (recorded for all time zones)
- · Live feedback sessions at 14:00 Amsterdam time, suitable for participants across the Americas, Europe, Africa, and much of Asia
Fees: €580 (VU researchers) / €740 (external participants) - minus €100 if no ECTS credits are required
Credits: 2 ECTS upon completion
