Hello friends and members of the OM Division,
Now that things have settled in a bit with the new year I wanted to take a second crack at seeing
whether, despite budgetary crunches, we might have any additional member willing to take on the
role of sponsor at the $100 or $300 level for the upcoming OM division sessions at the Academy.
For faculty members, if you don't think your area, department or school would entertain the idea
- Please consider championing the effort yourself. In the past years we've had some very
generous scholars willing to put forward $100 or $300 amounts from their own research accounts.
I'll be doing it myself this year. It's not a huge amount but in this lean year every little bit can
make a difference. If you'd be willing to make such a contribution please let me know and we can
list your department or school (whichever you wish) as a sponsor or co-sponsor of an event or
coffee at division meeting.
Once again, I sincerely hope you'll find such an option reasonable for yourself or your institution
this year.
