    Call for Papers
    ===============

In the last decades we have witnessed a strong growth and globalisation of
service activities in developed economies. In most of these economies,
services now account for close to 70% of GDP. Besides the general growth of
the service sector, manufacturing companies are also offering products with
a higher service component than in previous decades, on what has become
known as the servitization of manufacturing. The frontier between products
and services, as well as between manufacturing and service operations is
    becoming increasingly blurred.
This radical change has created a substantially different environment and
challenges for managing operations. The aim of the conference is to focus
on the implications of this new environment for the research and practice
of managing manufacturing and service operations.
Papers on all topics related to the research, practice, and teaching of
Operations Management are invited. The following conference tracks are
    envisaged:

    + E-Business and Operations
    + Global Operations
    + Health Care Operations
+ Human Resource Management in Operations Lean Operations Technology
+ Management in Operations Methodological Issues in Operations
+ Management New Product/Service Development and Project Management
+ Operations Management and the Environment Operations Planning and
+ Control Operations Strategy Performance Management Service Operations
+ Management Service Innovation Servitization of Manufacturing Supply
+ Chain Management Teaching Operations Management Total Quality

Special session tracks will be arranged around the theme of the conference
    as well as other themes.
