    Maritime Business Review is an open access journal.  The journal provides a platform for the latest insights and state of the art theory and management practice to researchers and practitioners on all aspects of maritime business.  Publish with us and you can play a part in addressing the issues arising from the maritime business environment.

     

    We are particularly interested in receiving submissions for the forthcoming special issues: -

     

    Shipping Business Strategy and Risk Management (Guest Editors; Assist Prof Okan Duru, Assoc Prof Emrah Bulut and Deputy Director – Tsz Leung Yip).  This issue will include extended versions of selected papers presented at the International Association of Maritime Economics (IAME 2017), however, papers are particularly welcome relating to the main theme, shipping business strategy and risk management, as well as other topics such as: -

    ·         Ship investments

    ·         Shipping Business cycles and Counter-Cyclical Investing

    ·         Sustainability of Shipping Business and Corporations

    ·         Down Market Strategies for Survival

    ·         Foreign exchange and interest rate risk management

    ·         Export Credit Agencies (ECAs) in the Shipping Business and more.

     

    Maritime Business Logistics (Guest Editors; Dr Kelvin Pang, Prof John Dinwoodie and Dr Young-Joon Seo).  This issue will include extended versions of selected papers presented at the International Forum for Shipping, Ports and Airports (IFSPA 2017), however, papers are also welcome that relate to the main themes below, as well as other topics include: -

    ·         Policy impact on maritime business logistics

    ·         Supply chains in maritime business logistics

    ·         Organisational behaviour issues in maritime business logistics

    ·         Applications of IT, big data, social media and e-commerce in maritime business logistics and more.
