    Hello Dayna,

Hope you are doing well and having a productive summer.

I am co-editing a special issue with Aravind Chandrasekaran (Ohio State) and Fabian Sting (Erasmus) on Combining Simulation and Empirical Methods in the Journal of Operations Management (See the CFP here: http://www.journals.elsevier.com/journal-of-operations-management/call-for-papers/call-for-papers-combining-simulation-and-empirical-research). The deadline for submission is March 15, 2017.

The objective of this special issue is to shine a light on research that brings together empirical and simulation research methods to develop more novel theories in operations management, especially when such theories are difficult to study using traditional empirical methods. One of the mission of this special issue is to highlight some of the interesting research questions that are in the intersection of OM and other fields that can help propel more research among OM Researchers.

I was wondering if you could share this call for papers with the OM Division of the Academy of Management?

Looking forward to seeing you at the Academy of Management in a few weeks.

    Best Regards,

    Kevin
