CALL FOR PAPERS
Internet of Things (IoT) assigns unique identifications to individual objects, be they human beings, home appliances, animals, cars, phones, watches, animals, or objects we have yet to imagine. These uniquely identified objects are connected through the Internet in wired or wireless fashion. The IoT platforms are anticipated to host trillions of interconnected objects in the coming decades. With the help of sensors, receivers, and big data analytics, the IoT is set to reinvent the world, giving us new ways to monitor, use, manage, automate, and play with objects in your life.
The complexity of IoT challenges many research domains, including decision models, optimization, data analysis, intelligent system, consumer behaviors, e-commerce, design science, cloud computing, semantics web, etc. The goal of this special issue is to foster theoretical development and innovative practices on new theories, methodologies, technologies, and applications related to IoT. We encourage submissions on theoretical, practical, as well as experimental studies, from both academia and industry.
Topics:
All topics related to IoT are welcome, including but not limited to the following categories:
* Behavioral issues related to IoT adoption, usage, and user-computer interaction
* Business analytics in IoT applications
* Decision support systems for IoT
* Distributed intelligent system in IoT objects
* Environmental issues in IoT adoption
* Framework to manage ownership of IoT data
* Information sharing of IoT data
* Innovative applications of IoT
* IoT and big data analytics
* Mobility and tractability of IoT data
* New role of governments, regulators, professional society, and associations
* New technologies to collect and manage IoT data
