The Department of Healthcare Management in the Leo J. Meehan School of Business at Stonehill College invites applications for two tenure-track or tenured positions. With a start date in August 2023, each person would join a department of a dozen full-time and part-time faculty with a wide range of disciplinary expertise and a commitment to fostering diversity among faculty and students. These are on-campus positions, and qualified candidates must teach on the physical Stonehill College campus.

Please note: Priority areas for these hires include supply chain management, quality improvement, and operations management. Faculty from the Meehan School of Business will be participating in the AoM 2022 Career Fair and conducting interviews during the AoM conference in Seattle (either via the in-person booth or the virtual booth), Please request an interview using the Career Fair tool.

The Department of Healthcare Management at Stonehill College maintains an undergraduate program of study certified by the Association of University Programs in Health Administration (AUPHA). There are currently 54 students pursuing the major in healthcare management and 30 students pursuing the minor. The Meehan School of Business holds accreditation from the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) International, and faculty in the Meehan School receive AACSB-competitive compensation.

Applicants should have the ability to teach a variety of undergraduate courses in the areas of epidemiology, public health, data analytics, supply chain management, quality improvement, and operations management. The persons appointed will be expected to pursue a scholarly agenda with publications; to participate actively in professional societies; and to be current in the broader fields of healthcare management. The standard teaching load is three courses per semester (fall/spring) with the option to teach additional courses during summer and winter sessions. During each faculty member's first year, a one-course reduction is provided in either the fall or spring semester.

Applicants must have earned a doctorate or appropriate terminal degree in healthcare management or a related field. Healthcare industry experience (private sector or public sector) is also desired. ABD candidates will be considered, as long as they can complete their degree requirements in early 2023. We will consider outstanding candidates for the rank of Associate or Professor who advance the College's initiatives and its mission.
