OSCM Factory Tour - Registration
Note: This tour will be limited to the first 50 people who will register for the tour. This factory tour will be planned if there are at least 20 registered participants.
Information about the Factory: The Operations and Supply Chain Management (OSCM) division is planning to organize a factory tour during the upcoming 84th Annual Meeting of the Academy of Management (AOM 2024)
9-13 August 2024 | Chicago, IL, USA. We plan to visit a 22,000-square-foot research factory set up by MxD (an organization that quips U.S. manufacturers with the digital manufacturing tools and expertise). This research factory is used to test and demonstrate new technology; train the workforce on these new systems and tools; and demonstrate the need for cybersecurity in manufacturing. There is no additional cost for this factory tour; however, pre-registration is required.
Session day: Tuesday (13th August)
Session timing: 16:00 – 17:30
Location: 1415 N Cherry Ave, Chicago, IL 60642 (about 3 miles from the conference hotel). Registered members will be responsible for their own transportation from the conference site to the factory location.
