    Scope:

    The book addresses a critical need for a holistic examination of the current trends and future prospects of digital transformation (DX) in the supply chains (SC). With the growing interest in DX and SC among researchers, academics, and business practitioners, there is a clear need for a comprehensive resource that integrates theoretical foundations with practical applications. The major objective of this proposed book is to have an excellent collection of book chapters from leading academics and scholars on strategies, methods, and applications for DX in the SC. Particularly, chapters will cover frameworks, models, analyses, applications, and research findings that are essential for DX in SC.

    It aims to explore the key drivers and initiatives for DX in SC, delve into the aspects of supply chain management, discuss the impact of emerging technologies, and examine the innovative business models that are shaping the future of the supply chain. It also intends to provide a practical guide to the modelling and optimization of supply chain processes, and share real-world cases and applications, which provide unique insights into the actual implementation of these concepts.

    The book could be an essential source for students and scholars who are interested in digital transformation and supply chain management. It could also provide an informative read for managers and practitioners who need to deepen their knowledge on digital transformation in the supply chain domain

    Submission:

    Interested contributors are invited to submit a 2-3-page chapter proposal clearly explaining the aims and objectives of the proposed chapter by April 15, 2024.

     

    The proposal (a single PDF file) should contain:

    1) Title of the proposed chapter,

    2) Authors of the chapter (including positions, affiliations, and email addresses),            

    3) Type of contribution (research paper, case study, etc.),

    4) Estimated number of pages,      

    5) Keywords (2 to 5),

    6) Extended abstract (about 500 words) describing contents of the book chapter (including methodology).

     

    Important Dates:

    April 15, 2024:   Proposal submission deadline

    April 30, 2024:   Notification of acceptance/rejection

    July 31, 2024:    Full chapter submission

    Oct. 31, 2024:    Review reports

    Dec. 31, 2024:    Revised chapter submission

    Mar. 31, 2025:    Final chapter submission
