    The Department of Management in the College of Business Administration (CBA) at K-State is seeking applicants for a tenure-track, full-time Assistant/Associate Professor position (rank commensurate with experience) in the Operations and Supply Chain Management (OSCM) area.

    The candidate will be responsible for research, teaching, and service activities in the CBA.

    Research: Consistent with departmental guidelines, the candidate will be expected to publish in high-quality academic journals in the OSCM area and develop a strong research track-record.

    Teaching: Desired areas of teaching experience or interest include Procurement, Logistics, Global Supply Chain Management, and Risk Management. The CBA has a strong emphasis on data analytics as part of its innovative curriculum. Accordingly, the candidate will be expected to support data analytics program growth in the supply chain area.

    Service: The candidate will be expected to demonstrate a strong commitment to collegiality and shared governance.     What You'll Need to Succeed:

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • The candidate must hold a Ph.D. in OSCM or a closely related area from an AACSB accredited university. ABDs will also be considered but must be in a position to complete their Ph.D. within 6 months of their employment date at K-State.
    • Ability to publish in high-quality academic journals in the OSCM area and develop a strong research track-record.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Strong research record as demonstrated through publications in top academic journals and presentations at national academic conferences
    • Prior university teaching experience in OSCM or closely-related field
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
    • Related professional work experience
    • Demonstrated ability to teach one or more of the advanced courses in Operations and Supply Chain Management
    • Commitment to understanding one's own experiences and perspectives as well as the experiences and perspectives of diverse others in an effort to cultivate strong relationships and effective collaboration
