    Job Description:

    The Department of Business & Economics at Wittenberg University invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track Assistant Professor position starting in January 2023. Wittenberg is committed to attracting and retaining highly qualified individuals who collectively reflect the diversity of our student body and society at-large. In response to a universal need for supply chain management and project management, our department is seeking candidates with a doctorate in a Business area who are prepared to teach introductory courses in supply chain management and project management as well as teach our core organizational management course.

    Our students explore their passions and interests in business within a liberal arts context. As a result, our graduates go on to build careers in fields they are passionate about, like marketing for a playhouse or running the business side of a research lab. We are excited for a new faculty member to join our community and collaborate with our curious students, engaged faculty and passionate alumni.

    A dedication to excellent undergraduate teaching and advising is required. We promote undergraduate student research. The teaching load is six courses per year. A commitment to university and community service is expected.


    Requirements:

    Applicants should have a Ph.D. (or ABD) in Management or related field and an interest in teaching in the liberal arts and sciences context.
