4th EurOMA CEE Research Network Workshop 2024 & 17th EPIEM Conference 2024

We would like to invite you to the 4th EurOMA Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) Research Network Workshop (former: Danube network) on the topic "Creating effective research partnerships in Central and Eastern Europe to tackle innovation and sustainability challenges in the era of AI", which will be held in person between October 2nd and 4th 2024 at the University of Trento, Italy.
The main objective of this workshop is to identify and bring together enthusiastic Operations Management (OM), industrial engineering and management researchers of all levels and faculties (e.g. lecturers, PhD students, postdocs, professors) from the CEE region by creating a stimulating atmosphere in an academic environment. The workshop will include academic and industrial keynotes, a "meet the editors" session and interactive group activities to develop an effective networking.
This should increase the number of OM scholars in the CEE region (as well as from neighbouring countries, like in the "Danube region": Germany, Austria, Hungary, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Slovenia, Bulgaria, Romania, Croatia, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Ukraine and Moldova) in order to strengthen their connections by creating a cooperative and sustainable research network.
It also aims to promote EurOMA as a leading international network of academics and practitioners from around the world who have a strong interest in the development of operations management, industrial engineering and management in Europe.
The registration deadline is 15/09/2024.
In addition, workshop participants will have the unique opportunity to submit a conference paper or extended abstract to the joint 17th EPIEM (European Professors of Industrial Engineering and Management) Conference at no additional cost. All accepted and submitted extended abstracts or papers will be published in the EPIEM conference proceedings.
