The OSCM Division is thrilled to announce a call for participants for our Junior Faculty and Doctoral Consortium 🎓, taking place at the Annual Meeting of the Academy of Management (AoM) on Friday, August 9th, 2024, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

This will not only be an exceptional learning experience but also a fantastic opportunity to connect and network with peers and mentors. Whether you're looking to deepen your knowledge, share your expertise, or explore new ideas, this consortium is the place to be!

Doctoral students and junior faculty doing empirical research on any OSCM topic may participate.

To apply, please send an e-mail to the relevant coordinator by April 30, 2024, including the following in one PDF document:

    (1) a cover letter including full-contact information, your advisor's contact information (doctoral students only), a one-sentence statement on your stage in the doctoral program (doctoral students only), and a short statement of your motivation to participate in the consortium,

    (2) a curriculum vitae, and

    (3) a one-page summary of your dissertation research highlighting one main research paper or proposal to be presented at the consortium (doctoral students only) / a one-page research prospectus highlighting one main research proposal to be presented at the consortium (junior faculty only).

    Financial support

Doctoral students and junior faculty in developing countries can apply to the OSCM Division DEI Assistant Fund (up to 1,000 US$) by including a letter of request in their application. This letter should include a statement of their annual doctoral stipend or research/travel budget (signed by their academic advisor or supervisor) and a personal statement expressing their need. Award recipients will be communicated by mid-June, but please note that AOM holds the funds and only reimburses the awards after the conference.
