** Due to the continued impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, The Spring Servitization Conference 2020 will be a virtual event with a programme spanning three days from 14-16 September 2020.
The Spring Servitization Conference (#SSC2020) is dedicated to understanding how organisations can develop and adapt their business models through servitization and advanced services. Under the theme of Advanced Services for Sustainability and Growth the conference will bring together the world’s leading researchers, practitioners and doctoral students to debate and engage with the theory and practice of servitization.
The World Servitization Convention
This year's conference will take place together with the 1st World Servitization Convention (WSC). WSC attracts business executives who are engaged in the organisational transformation towards servitization and are inspired to become an advanced services provider. The programme features an exhibition of servitization solutions from large and SME manufacturers as well as industry presentations and workshops from leading experts in the field.
A virtual conference environment
In these past few months we have all had our share of virtual meetings, digital learning and online socials. We wanted this conference to be much more than a series of webinars and have been working hard to find a suitable solution. We are pleased to let you know that we have now partnered with vFairs to deliver a conference environment, complete with lobby, auditoriums, exhibition hall and networking facilities. Quite simply, we want to create an experience that is as close as possible to a physical event - but without the need for people to travel and physically attend. Below are a few impressions of what the virtual venue will look like. Please note that these are still generic and we will be customising to suit our event.
Programme and Registration
This platform has allowed us to retain much of the structure and content of our programme and exhibition. Therefore, the registration is now open online. Please note that the registration fees have also been amended to accommodate the changes we have had to make in moving into a virtual event. Those registered will receive further communications regarding the joining structure.
