    Apologies for cross-posting

    Dear colleagues,

As we've had a number of requests for extensions, we have extended the deadline for the Academy of Management Discoveries (AMD) Special Issue on "Errors in Organizations: Exploring New Frontiers, and Developing New Opportunities for Theory, Research and Impact." The new submission deadline is August 31, 2019.

We call for this special issue to stimulate cutting-edge empirical research that develops a deeper understanding of errors and that provides broader implications for organizations and society. You can find a more detailed call for papers for this special issue in AMD site (see below):

    http://aom.org/uploadedFiles/Publications/AMD/AMD_Call_for_Papers.Errors%20in%20Organizations.pdf

Following the AMD mission, we welcome phenomenon-driven research that identifies and explores emerging issues and surprising relationships in the error context, provides a plausible explanation as to when and why such relationships occur, highlights new boundary conditions, helps to illuminate some promising paths for the integration of diverse disciplinary backgrounds and organizational and industrial contexts, and may even overturn basic underlying assumptions. We have no disciplinary preference and welcome papers from management, psychology, health care, operations management, sociology, economic, political science, and data science, among others.

To submit manuscripts, authors should follow the standard AMD submission procedure and go to the Manuscript Central and follow the directions. Please prepare your manuscripts in accordance with AMD's Style Guide, which appears on AMD

If you have any questions about the special issue and the submission process, do not hesitate to contact any guest editor in the call and listed below.

    Sincerely,
