    Hi All,

A wonderful opportunity to have students participate in the 2018-2019 APICS Case Competition in collaboration with Deloitte.

Details from Mike Ogle, Senior Director of Academics and Research at APICS are as follows:

Competition held during the month of October in 2018

Offer the case as part of your classes or encourage student chapters/clubs or individual teams to be formed

Over 200 teams participated in the 2017-2018 Competition

Provided by APICS in collaboration with Deloitte Consulting LLP

Teams can begin registering on August 15th

We are excited to announce the 2018-2019 APICS Student Case Competition, provided by APICS in collaboration with Deloitte.  Participating teams develop and present solutions to challenging real-world supply chain management problems as they compete for prize money and recognition. The 2017-2018 competition resulted in over 200 teams participating worldwide.

As a faculty member teaching supply chain related topics, you can drive student team formation by integrating the case into your classes during the month of October, encouraging student chapters/clubs to form teams and compete, or encouraging individual teams to be formed. You can also serve as a team advisor or mentor and possibly act as your schools' ultimate authority who names the up to two teams that are submitted by your school to advance to the next round.

Please find the school round case preview (full case with data sets will be released to all teams on October 1st), rules and procedures, timeline, judge's scoring sheet, and a faculty overview file posted on the case competition website at www.apics.org/case-competition.  Questions may be addressed to casecompetition@apics.org.
