The University of Bristol Business School is inviting applications for an outstanding Professor or Associate Professor in Operations Management on a full-time, open-ended basis. This is a key academic appointment, and candidates should have an international research profile in Operations and/or Supply Chain Management.
The Role
Our School is known for research at the intersection of business, social science, and technology-addressing challenges that benefit the economy, society, and planet. We welcome applicants from a variety of perspectives, including behavioural operations, supply chains, system dynamics, networks, technology, strategy, change, and innovation. We are particularly interested in empirical and experimental researchers with high ambitions and a strong scholarly trajectory.
What Will You Be Doing?
You will contribute to the School's research excellence and deliver inspiring, innovative teaching at undergraduate, postgraduate, or executive levels. A commitment to interdisciplinary collaboration and the ability to design and teach across disciplinary boundaries is highly valued. You will also support students through personal tutoring and contribute to the leadership and mentoring within the Operations and Management Science, Healthcare & Innovation group.
