    Dear all,

    The Department of Supply Chain Management (SCM) in the W. P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University invites applications for an open-rank tenure-track position at the assistant, associate, or full professor rank starting Fall 2025.


    Essential Functions: The candidate must conduct high-quality research and publish in top-tier SCM journals; effectively teach SCM courses at the undergraduate and/or graduate level; serve as a research mentor to doctoral students; and interact effectively with colleagues to support and enhance our unique department culture.

    Minimum Qualifications:
    1. Earned Ph.D. in business analytics, supply chain management, operations management, industrial engineering, or a closely related field by position start date; ABD candidates must have earned or be close to earning the PhD by the position start date.
    2. Active research agenda with publications in top-tier SCM journals. Evidence of teaching excellence with the capability to effectively teach courses in business analytics, operations management and related business areas.
    3. For candidates applying for an associate/full professor, an established record of excellence in research, teaching, and professional leadership is expected.

    Desired Qualifications:
    1. Strong training in applied analytical and empirical methods with skills in data analytics, machine learning, and/or a strong background in econometrics.
    2.Ability to teach management science courses at the graduate level.
    3.Research areas of interest in, but not limited to, supply chain resilience, sustainability, and socially responsible operations.
    4.Interest in collaboration with industry or public sector organizations and evidence of successful external funding.
    5.For candidates applying for the assistant professor position, prior experience in an assistant professor role is preferred.
