The Academy of Management Perspectives will be conducting a proposal development workshop in collaboration with the Midwest Academy of Management at our upcoming meeting. You and your co-authors are invited to participate by submitting to, presenting at, or attending our conference to be held IN-PERSON at ST. Ambrose University in Davenport, IA on OCT 14-16, 2021.

In advance of the workshop, we would like to encourage you to submit to the new Business Practice Track.  If you have an idea for AMP Proposal, the Business Practice is for short reflective and insightful essays (~5 pages) advancing thought leadership for practice focused scholarship that address the conference theme or any issue you are interested in working on for an AMP submission. You might consider using the attached AMP suggested format to help you organize your ideas.

These short essays could be the beginnings of an AMP Proposal, an AMP Paper, a Practice based journal article, white papers, blog posts, LinkedIn articles, keynote speeches, podcast content, or other practice-based scholarly publications.

Conference Papers including the Business Practice Track are due July 16th.

You do not have to have a paper accepted to the Midwest Academy of Management Meeting to participate in the AMP Paper Development Workshop.  More information about attending the workshop will be announced when the MAM 2021 Program is released.
