    Dear faculty members and doctoral students,

    We are pleased to announce that we have started accepting applications from doctoral students and junior faculty in Operations and Supply Chain Management programs to attend the PhD Winter Academy 2020 at the Malaysia Institute for Supply Chain Innovation (MISI), one of the six centers in the MIT Global SCALE Network.

    The Winter Academy will be held from Jan 13-24, 2020 at the MISI campus in Shah Alam, Malaysia, a 25-minute drive from Kuala Lumpur. The Academy is designed to provide an intense period of learning and debating the fundamental concepts and recent advances in Operations and Supply Chain Management. The sessions will be taught by three distinguished scholars in our field: Prof. Elena Katok (University of Texas at Dallas), Prof. Constantine Blome (Sussex University), and Prof.Yaozhong Wu (National University of Singapore).

    In addition to engaging in the scholarly discussions, you will also get the opportunity to know your future colleagues from various institutions across the world in relaxed social settings while enjoying the numerous culinary, cultural, and natural attractions of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

    The interested applicants should email their CV to the director of the Winter Academy, Dr. Javad Feizabadi (" target="_blank" rel="noopener"> no later than 31 December 2019. Participants are responsible for all travel, lodging and incidental expenses.
