International Purchasing and Supply Education and Research Association (IPSERA), 29th Annual Conference

The IPSERA2020 conference theme is "Procurement Innovation". Procurement requires the application of science and technology, analytical skills and quantitative methods; on the other hand, it requires a need for creativity and understanding of soft behavioral skills. The digital transformation is opening new opportunities for the management of Purchasing and Supply Chains, making "big data" available and offering analytical tools to manage them. It is also aiding in networking and sharing of innovative ideas. This enables both disruption of existing practices and outdated technologies, as well as new ways to tackle sustainability challenges, e.g. through better transparency and control of supply chain risk.

To support this theme, the call for papers for Educators' Workshop is now open. We are welcoming papers aiming to support innovative teaching in purchasing and supply management education. Submission of working and competitive papers will be accepted. If you are interested in hosting a workshop during the Educators' event, please send your express of interest and inquiry for more details directly to the program chair via email.

Submissions open September 1st, and close November 15th, 2019. Notification of acceptance will be given January 2nd, 2020 and final paper submission deadline is February 15th, 2020.
