    Dear colleagues:

Please distribute the following Ph.D. student position to anyone you think may be interested. Thank you in advance!

    ------------------------------------------------------

We have multiple fully-funded Graduate Research Assistantship positions available in the Department of Supply Chain Management and Analytics (SCMA) at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln. The start date is Fall 2022 and all application materials must be received by January 1, 2022.

Our Ph.D. in Business with a Specialization in Supply Chain Management and Analytics enables students to gain valuable hands-on experience and provides opportunities to collaborate closely with faculty who are committed to the students' success. Our large number of graduate faculty relative to a small number of students ensures that students will receive personalized support from faculty mentors. Students will work one-on-one with faculty on their research, with the goal of publishing journal articles that will enhance their post-graduate career opportunities as university faculty or researchers. Graduate Assistants at Nebraska can be eligible for tuition remission of up to 12 hours per semester as well as basic individual student health insurance. The University subsidizes 79 percent of the student health insurance premium.

Housed in the College of Business, which was established in 1913 and moved into a new 240,000 square foot, $84-million-dollar state-of-the-art building in the fall of 2017, the Department of SCMA consists of 12 tenured and tenure-track faculty, along with one professor of practice and one full-time lecturer. The department is responsible for teaching the College of Business' core courses in Operations and Supply Chain Management and Business Analytics/Information Systems and offers a variety of programs at the undergraduate and graduate level, including the Ph.D. in SCMA.

Students with higher education degrees in business, engineering, mathematics, or any other relevant field with a strong math background, can apply for the SCMA Ph.D. program. Students must have completed the following courses at their previous institution of higher education: calculus through multivariable calculus, linear algebra, statistics and intermediate microeconomics. In some cases, deficiencies in prerequisites can be addressed after admission to the Ph.D. program but prior to enrollment. SCMA Ph.D. students who possess a relevant MS, MBA or other master's degree in business may transfer up to 21 credit hours of master's-level coursework.

Interested students should apply online at go.unl.edu/gradapp. Applications must include a statement of purpose, professional resume, three letters of recommendation, academic transcripts and a GMAT or GRE score. International students will need to submit a TOEFL score.<o:p>
