    Dear Colleagues,

We have recently made the decision to move the 2020 Spring Servitization Conference to a virtual event on the same initially organised dates in the autumn (14, 15, and 16th September). We now have further updates for you.

    The World Servitization Convention

As you may know, this year's conference will take place together with the 1st World Servitization Convention (WSC). WSC attracts business executives who are engaged in the organisational transformation towards servitization and are inspired to become an advanced services provider. The programme features an exhibition of servitization solutions from large and SME manufacturers as well as industry presentations and workshops from leading experts in the field.

    A virtual conference environment

In these past few months we have all had our share of virtual meetings, digital learning and online socials. We wanted this conference to be much more than a series of webinars and have been working hard to find a suitable solution. We are pleased to let you know that we have now partnered with vFairs to deliver a conference environment, complete with lobby, auditoriums, exhibition hall and networking facilities. Quite simply, we want to create an experience that is as close as possible to a physical event - but without the need for people to travel and physically attend. Below are a few impressions of what the virtual venue will look like. Please note that these are still generic and we will be customising to suit our event.

    Programme and Registration

This platform has allowed us to retain much of the structure and content of our programme and exhibition. Therefore, the registration is now open online. Please note that the registration fees have also been amended to accommodate the changes we have had to make in moving into a virtual event. Those registered will receive further communications regarding the joining structure.

If you have any queries or require further information, please contact J.FORREST1@aston.ac.uk" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Jill Forrest.

We look forward to seeing you all, virtually, at the Spring Servitization Conference - this year taking place in autumn.

    With best wishes,
The Spring Servitization Conference Organising Committee
