Greetings and welcome everyone to EurOMA 2021 in Berlin (4-7 July)!https://www.euroma21.org Major natural and geopolitical events (Covid 19, Brexit, the US-China Trade War) have thrust Operations and Supply Chain Management onto the front pages of newspapers and to the forefront of business leaders' minds. We, as an Operations and Supply Chain community, will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of business in this disrupted world. The theme for this year's conference is "Managing the "New Normal": The future of Operations and Supply Chain Management". We look forward to stimulating debates on how emerging technologies and innovative new processes can help operations managers survive and thrive in today's new normal. Plenary speakers will include Prof. Rob Handfield (North Carolina, Poole College of Management), Prof. Chris Tang (UCLA Anderson School of Management) and Prof. Stefan Scholtes (University of Cambridge, Judge Business School). Due to the on-going uncertainty of COVID 19, we are currently planning that EurOMA 2021 will offer a blended conference experience which will provide an interactive environment for those able to attend in person and those able to attend online. Authors are now invited to block their calendars and to submit an abstract, not exceeding 1000 words, which will undergo a double-blind review. Abstracts can be submitted from 1st December 2020 and are due by Tuesday 19th January 2021. Authors of accepted abstracts will be invited to prepare a final paper (10 pages maximum length) for oral presentation at the conference. Inclusion of the final paper in the conference programme is subject to at least one author having registered by Tuesday 25th May 2021 to attend the conference. https://www.euroma21.org/call-for-papers In case you want to contribute mini-tracks, special sessions, panel discussions, professional development workshops or anything else that isn't a classical research paper, then please send your suggestions now via e-mail to Dr. Anthony Alexander (Anthony.Alexander@sussex.ac.uk). We are open to listen to your ideas. We look forward to meeting you preferable in person (or online) in Berlin!
