Welcome to all members of the Operations and Supply Chain Management Division of the Academy of Management. For our new members, we would like to highlight some of our division activities and encourage you to get involved so you can get the most out of our programs at the 2017 annual meeting in Atlanta, Georgia.


Receptions – attend a reception sponsored by the OSCM division and the Journal of SCM
Opportunities for Involvement – serve as session chair, professional development workshop chair, serve on the division leadership team, present research papers, lead a round table discussion
Facility Tours and Outings – organize a professional development workshop for members to participate, network, and learn about organizations while attending the annual meeting
Awards and Recognition – recognition is given to individuals who have demonstrated exceptional contributions as research scholars, best reviewers of papers submitted to the annual meeting, authors of best papers submitted to the annual meeting
Best Paper Sessions – the authors of best papers are invited to present in sessions sponsored by the Journal of Operations Management and the Journal of Supply Chain Management each year
Meet the Editors – check out opportunities to ask questions of journal editors attending our conference
Doctoral Student Consortium & Junior Faculty Workshop – participate in the workshop designed for doctoral students nearing completion of their studies to be mentored by senior faculty and discuss their research with others
